The ascent from Ovaro has an altitude difference of 1210 meters in 10.5 kilometers with an average gradient of 11.5% and sections greater than 20%, on the roadside every 300/500 meters there are signs with images of winning cycling champions of the Giro d'Italia and the progressive mileage covered by the town of Liariis.
Particular attention must be paid to the famous bends of the Zoncolan, a cross and a delight for even the most trained cyclists.
Beside the Zoncolan sign there is also the monument to the climber cyclist.
From here you can enjoy a truly suggestive view: considered the balcony of the Carnic Alps for one of the most evocative views in Italy
