Mount Everest, also known as Chomolungma or Sagarmatha, is the highest mountain in the world, with an altitude of 8,848 meters. In recent decades, the number of climbers reaching the summit of Mount Everest has increased dramatically, with tens of thousands of people attempting the climb. It is estimated that 4000 have climbed it.<\/p>\n
